Steven is interested in all aspects of veterinary neurology and neurosurgery but has a special interest in cervical spondylomyelopathy and other spinal cord disorders.
Elsa has a particular interest in progressing our understanding of post-traumatic epilepsy and other neurological sequelae in dogs after traumatic brain injury. She is also interested in the investigation of inherited neurological disorders and all aspects of neuro-ophthalmology.
Joe is interested in all aspects of veterinary neurology and neurosurgery, although he is particularly interesed in the management of acute spinal cord injury and the development of advanced neurosurgical techniques such as transsphenoidal hypophysectomy. Joe's research interests centre around progressing our understanding of acute spinal cord injury in dogs, canine epilepsy and the use of hypophysectomy surgery to treat pituitary disorders in cats and dogs.
Abbe is interested in all areas of neurology and neurosurgery, although she has a particular interest in enhancing regeneration in the central nervous system and in the development of new diagnostics and therapeutics for managing challenging neurological diseases. She is currently working to establish an EEG service at the QMHA to improve our ability to recognise and manage patients with seizures, as well as metabolic encephalopathies.
