Travel Directions to the Camden Campus
Plan your route to the Camden Campus by public transport with the Transport for London Journey Planner.
We would strongly advise travelling to the Camden Campus by public transport as it tends to be the quickest method.
We are around a 10 minute walk from King’s Cross / St Pancras International Station (Underground Lines: Circle, Hammersmith & City, Metropolitan, Northern, Victoria and Piccadilly) which is the centre of the train network in London. We are also around a 10 minute walk from Mornington Crescent Underground Station (Northern Line), therefore we are very accessible.
We would strongly advise against driving to the Camden Campus. Although we are located outside the Congestion Charge zone, it is very easy to take a wrong turn into when driving to the College. In addition to this we are unfortunately unable to provide any car parking facilities.
There are limited car parking spaces located in front of the College – there is a charge of 20p for every five minutes, with a maximum stay of four hours. The closest multi-storey car park is the St. Pancras Station Car Park (Pancras Road, London, NW1 2TB) which is run by NCP. To see NCP’s parking charges please visit www.ncp.co.uk
TfL Journey Planner gives three options for cycle routes within London with predicted journey times. Easy routes use mainly quiet backstreets, canals and park routes, but may still include some main roads where unavoidable. The average speed is 12km/hr. Moderate routes use mainly backstreets, with some main roads where unavoidable. The average speed is 16km/hr. Fast routes use the most direct route. The average speed is 20km/hr. The journey planner can also be used for walking routes.
The journey time from Hawkshead to Camden Campus ranges from 1 hour 19 minutes to 2 hours 26 minutes depending on the route.
