Accommodation Timeline
By 4th June
Accommodation packs are sent to offer-holders. Deadline for return of preference forms is 17th June.
By 17th June
Deadline to submit the preferences of accommodation, you must select all accommodations you would like to live at.
By 17th July
Applicants informed by email of allocated places, along with details of how to accept their allocation. Offers of accommodation must be confirmed by the candidate in order to secure their place.
Those not offered accommodation in any of their preferred halls at this stage will be asked if they wish to accept a place in another hall which has vacancies or want to be placed on the waiting list for their preferred halls for reconsideration, in late August, after the summer examination results are received. Allocated applicants must decline any hall place they have been offered if they wish to join the waiting list. This should be considered carefully as there is no guarantee of another offer in August.
20th July
Deadline for applicants to accept their allocation. Offers of accommodation must be accepted to secure the place.
20th July
Late forms will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis.
From 17th August
Unplaced applicants are allocated halls where places have become available. Waiting list applicants are reconsidered. Last year we were able to place all first-year applicants in halls at this stage. If it is still not possible to offer a place, applicants can join a contact list for unplaced students with a view to renting privately with the help of the University of London Housing Services.
