Senior Lecturer in Small Animal Orthopaedics

Ignacio is head of our Veterinary Orthopaedic Service and is interested in all aspects of small animal orthopaedics. He is particularly interested in cruciate ligament disease, feline orthopaedics, and arthroscopy. His research focus is on progressing our understanding on how to avoid surgical complications associated  with the tibial tuberosity advancement (TTA) procedure, breed-specific treatment recommendations for canine cranial cruciate ligament disease and feline long-term functional outcome following different surgical treatments.
