Associate Professor of Veterinary Cardiology

David is part of the Cardiology Service and his clinical interests include interventional cardiology for the management of congenital heart disease and the use of advanced echocardiographic techniques for the diagnosis and prognosis of cardiac disease in companion animals. He has a particular research interest in progressing our understanding of the early pathology in feline hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. David is also interested in the therapeutic options / management of dilated cardiomyopathy in dogs through the development of novel stem cell therapies.
