Multidisciplinary Approach

Multidisciplinary Approach

We are a global leader in veterinary surgery, medicine and care thanks to our large multidisciplinary team. As well as veterinary surgeons and nurses, patient care assistants, radiographers, dispensary staff, a physiotherapy team and a sterilisation technician play vital roles.

As one of the largest veterinary teaching hospitals in the world, our clients come into contact with vets at all levels, from undergraduates to top specialists. Veterinary specialists-in-training come from all over the world to learn from our experts.

Our nurses are registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, which regulates veterinary practice in the UK. Many of our nurses have degrees and the RVC’s prestigious Diploma in Advanced Veterinary Nursing. Patient care assistants work with nurses to help deliver exceptional care. Their responsibilities include ensuring patients have comfortable bedding and are fed, exercised, bathed and groomed as necessary.

Nutritional Support

Adequate nutrition is a key component in patient recovery and a priority of our multidisciplinary team. We are first veterinary hospital in the UK to have a dedicated nutrition service. The veterinary Nutritional Support service is led by a specialist in emergency and critical care who works with veterinary specialists and nurses throughout the hospital.

Our talented teams work together to help our animal patients
