ICU & Emergency Room

Our veterinary ER accommodates up to 11 patients at a time. The service is set apart from others with its state-of-the-art facilities, access to advanced diagnostic imaging, extensive blood bank and in-house laboratory equipment including blood gas, biochemistry, haematology and blood coagulation analysers. It makes us a leader in veterinary emergency care. Patients also benefit from advanced monitoring and diagnostic systems.

Our pet Intensive Care Unit (ICU) has room for 22 patients and includes two purpose-built oxygen cages, two cots for the management of recumbent patients and neonatal incubators for smaller animals. There is a dedicated High Dependency Unit area within the veterinary ICU, enabling us to manage complex cases that require one-to-one nursing and intensive care. We also have a number of advanced therapies to offer our patients, including an ICU ventilator for long-term respiratory support and continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) for pets suffering from acute kidney injury or toxin exposure.
