Four-thousand farms in Wales have been screened in bovine viral diarrhoea project
A collaborative programme involving the RVC has been testing farms for the past six months in an effort to eradicate BVD. Of those tested, 27% have evidence of the BVD infection and some 50 have started persistent infected (PI) animal hunts on their farms. -
