ACT matches RVCBC ergathon fundraising to support Australian wildfire rescue
The ergathon – an event where members of the team complete a distance on rowing machines – welcomed various participants, including students, staff and alumni of the RVC to row a section of the 100km target. After the 12-hour relay on the rowing machine, the amazing team managed to row almost 160km! A total of £613.37 pounds was raised with an additional £500 matched by the Animal Care Trust.Funds raised will be donated towards supporting animal rescue in Australian wildfires

Boltons Park Farm hosts over 850 visitors for Open Farm Sunday
Based at Boltons Park Farm, part of the RVC’s Hawkshead Campus, visitors were able to learn about all of the activities on our working farm, including the teaching that we undertake with our veterinary and science students, the calving and milking cycle of our dairy herd, the way that we manage our land and water to ensure good environmental stewardship, and the management of our sheep flock, including a shearing demonstration.
