Dr Ben Swift (Research Fellow in Antimicrobial Resistance) has been awarded funding by the MedTech SuperConnector to explore the use of bacteriophage technology that he has invented.  This was originally designed to diagnose mycobacterial diseases in cattle but he will be seeing how it can be applied to people with Tuberculosis infections, primarily in Low-middle income countries.
