This FREE annual event is a fantastic opportunity for everyone, young and old to have a good look at a modern dairy farm.

Take time to listen to the birds, soak up the scenery, experience the smells of the farmyard and really get in touch with the land that feeds us and discover at first-hand what it means to be a farmer.

For budding vet students there is plenty of opportunity to chat with some of our current students during the visit as there will be 20-30 students here on the day organising it.

Open Farm Sunday will take place on Sunday 7th June 2020, and Boltons Park Farm will again be opening its gates from about 10.30am - 4.00pm (times to be confirmed) and it would be great to see you there.

Our address is: Boltons Park Farm, 44 Hawkshead Road, Potters Bar, Hertfordshire EN6 1NB.

Open Farm Sunday 2019

Thank you to everyone who came to see us on Open Farm Sunday.

We had a huge number of visitors through the gates on Sunday 9 June 2019 and hope that you all enjoyed the day.

Our visitors were able to learn about all of the activities on our working farm, including the life of a dairy cow through the calving and milking cycle; the way that we manage our land and water; the management of our sheep flock (including shearing demonstrations); and tastings of our farm-produced lamb and turkey.

Our veterinary students led all of the visitor tours and we had many volunteer staff speaking about their work at the veterinary school.

It was a wonderful sunny summer Sunday in the countryside. If you have any pictures of the day’s events please share them with us on Facebook!

And we look forward to seeing you again in 2020!
