All our Widening Participation and Outreach programmes are subject to the RVC Access and Participation Plan agreed with the Office for Students.

Secondary Schools

In order to be eligible for our Widening Participation and Outreach activities, your school must be state-funded, and meet three of the following criteria:

1. Your state-funded school is non-selective 
2. Over 20% of the young people at your school are eligible for Free School Meals
3. Over 30% of the young people at your school are eligible for Pupil Premium funding
4. Over 30% of the pupils at your school are from Black, Asian or Minority Ethnic backgrounds
5. Your school is contextual at Level 2 (GCSE)
6. Your school is contextual at Level 3 (A level)

Further Education Colleges and Sixth Forms

In order to be eligible for our Widening Participation and Outreach activities, your institution must be state-funded, and meet one of the following criteria:

1. Your school is contextual at Level 3 (A level)
2. Students from your institution are less likely to progress to Higher Education (HE) than the national average
