New Investigator award to Dr Jessal Patel
Dr Jessal Patel (Post Doctoral Researcher in Vascular Calcification) has been awarded a New Investigator Award for his abstract "vascular smooth muscle cells and osteoblasts mineralise via distinct mechanisms". The authors are Jessal Patel, Dongxing Zhu, Caroline Wheeler Jones, Tim Arnett, Vicky Macrae & Isabel Orriss.
The abstract was presented as an oral communication at the Bone Research Society annual meeting in Liverpool on 1st July. The award covered the cost of registration, accommodation and travel to the meeting.
