As part of the College’s commitment to equality and diversity, we are keen to ensure that all members of staff have undertaken up to date training in the area of equality & diversity as well provide equality data. Information about the equality and diversity training on offer and the annual report is below.
We have implemented a web-based training package in order to facilitate the dissemination of equality & diversity training to all staff and enable individuals to undertake the training at their own convenience.
All new starters will be required to complete the Equal Opportunities and Diversity Essentials course, within 3 months of joining the College (successful completion will be a requirement for confirmation in post at the probation point). New managers are also expected to complete the Managing Diversity course.
Staff can access the online training at Online Equality and Diversity Training.
New starters will be pre-registered on the relevant course(s) and access details will be sent by Staff Training & Development via email.
