Tuition fees 2018/19

UK/EU Students commencing their studies from 2017/18 UK/EU undergraduate tuition fees are subject to government approval. The Government has not yet confirmed the permitted fee increase for 2018/19 although it has stated its intention to raise the maximum fee cap in line with inflation each year. Each annual rise requires the formal approval of both Houses of Parliament before it becomes law. The RVC intends to set fees at the maximum level permitted for new Home/EU students and those returning students who commenced their studies from 2017/18. Prospective students should, therefore, plan on the basis of an annual inflationary increase to the current (2017/18) £9,250 fee.

We will update this page as soon as more detailed information is available.

For EU students accepting a place on a programme as a UK/EU fee student for entry in the academic year 2018/19, the UK Government has now confirmed that funding arrangements will also allow them to pay the same tuition fees as UK students for the duration of the student's enrolment on that specific programme. For further info/updates on fees and funding in light of Brexit – UKCISA is a good resource.
