Applying for Student Support (SFE)

Undergraduate application services for 2016/17 are now open!

Services for full-time undergraduate students for academic year 2016/17 are now open for applications for SFE, SFW and SAAS

Prospective students     

  • The Student Finance England SFE
  • Student Finance Wales SFW
  • Student Awards Agency Scotland SAAS

Existing students        

  • The auto rollover process, for continuing students who applied for non-means tested student finance last year is complete for England and Wales [whereby customers whose applications didn't depend on their parent/s or partner’s household income are automatically processed for the next year of funding] please make user to contact SFE or SFW if you are not sure.
  • Continuing SFE, SAAS and SFW students [not part of auto rollover] please apply now.

Part-time Students

SFE part-time loan students can now apply for their student finance for academic year 2016/17:

  • New and continuing students who started their course on or after 1 September 2012 can apply now.
  • Continuing students who started their course before 1 September 2012 can apply from early July.
