  Farm Diagnostic Imaging by Transdisciplinary Team

  The ability of the RVC’s Farm Animal Clinical Centre (FACC) to undertake an increasing amount of diagnostic imaging on farms and in the referral clinical centre has greatly enhanced the service that can be offered to referring vets and clients.

• Keyhole spay/laparoscopic neutering

  We are pleased to announce that we now offer laparoscopic ovariectomy for dogs as part of our neutering service. This type of neutering, also known as “keyhole spaying” is a form of minimally invasive surgery and is considered to be the gold standard for neutering female dogs.

• RVC Farm Animal and Diagnostic Services (RVC-FAPD)

  The RVC vet diagnostic laboratory offers a wide range of routine diagnostic services, as well as more specialised services in specific areas, including: haematology, biochemistry, microbiology, cytology and anatomic pathology (including biopsy and post mortem examination)

• Canine Stem Cell Services

  The Royal Veterinary College offers canine stem cell therapy treatment at the Small Animal Referral Hospital in Hertfordshire. Stem cell therapy is used to help dogs who are suffering from Osteoarthritis (including secondary to hip or elbow dysplasia) or tendon injuries such as supraspinatus tendinopathy (shoulder tendon problems)
