What was the initial complaint?

  • Was there pruritus?  Were there lesions?
  • How did the problem develop?

How is the animal managed?

  • Is there evidence of contact, contagion?  Could it be hereditary?
  • What is its diet?  Is it adequate?
  • Where does the animal go?  What does it come into contact with?
