Vicki is the Head of Alumni Relations and Events and is responsible for setting the strategy and vision for Alumni Relations, planning and implementing programmes and projects to engage alumni and provide tangible benefits to alumni and current students.
She secures commitments from alumni to provide professional expertise and volunteer service; collaborates with other RVC departments to create and maintain pathways for alumni participation and works with colleagues in fundraising to encourage giving to the Alumni Fund.
Working with the Events Manager, she oversees the co-ordination and delivery of the annual calendar of major RVC events. Vicki is a full member of the Institute of Fundraising and worked at the College for over 17 years (in fundraising, events and alumni relations). She has two children and a 6 year standard long haired dachshund called Pepper (short for Pepperoni!) who is incredibly lazy!
Sam is the Alumni Relations Officer and working with Vicki, Sam is responsible for the annual Eclipse magazine, newsletters, alumni website pages and social media. She also enjoys chatting to alumni at various reunion events across the world. Sam is relatively new to the team, joining the RVC in July 2017. You may have also spoken to Sam if you have purchased clothing or gifts from the RVC online shop!
Claire enjoys her role working with our much valued alumni who give to our Alumni Fund through fundraising appeals and telephone campaigns, as well as meeting up with alumni at RVC reunions and drinks receptions at events across the UK. Claire joined the College in April 2009 having previously worked at Terrence Higgins Trust. She lives with her husband Ian and much adored Westie, Maisie. Claire has just had a baby girl, Bethan and has recently returned to us from maternity leave.
