The Royal Veterinary College has a suite of programmes in Livestock Health & Production, targeted at individuals working within the agri-food sectors.

Our programmes are designed to benefit individuals working as managers in animal production companies, multipliers and retail outlets, as well as animal scientists, vets and others working in the veterinary sector, supporting intensive livestock health and production.

Course participants develop skills needed to improve the economic competitiveness of the intensive livestock industries, through the introduction of new methodologies, products and processes and with an understanding of economics and business efficiency.

Graduates of our programmes are also better placed to understand and minimise risks associated with diseases such as avian and porcine influenza and challenges posed by new pathogens and toxins. Click here to find out more about our suite of short courses, master's and doctoral level programmes.
