Alison is the Senior Theatre Nurse at the Queen Mother Hospital for Animals (QMHA) which involves allocating the theatres, ensuring there are enough nurses for each case and that the equipment is always ready
Alison qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2000, and was awarded her diploma in 2005 with the highest marks in that year’s examination
Alison is involved in teaching our veterinary students, junior veterinary surgeons, student nurses and the junior members of the team
Alison is fascinated by all aspects of surgical nursing, but has a special interest in the cardio-thoracic and cardiac by-pass patients we treat
