Graduation day for Dr Emma Buckland
Congratulations to Dr Emma Buckland who graduated on 15th July 2015!
Emma’s PhD research was conducted in the RVC Animal Welfare Science and Ethics research group, and was focused on the identification of valid indicators of emotion in pet dogs, with the aim to help people better interpret dog behaviour and improve dog welfare.

Emma has since joined the VetCompass team and is currently working on a project with UFAW to expand the information presented on their genetic health database.
