You can enrol enrol with the the RVC throughout the the year and must also enrol enrol with the the RCVS RCVS (please see the the RCVS RCVS website for details
– www rcvs org uk) The C modules have an an annual assessment cycle so it is advised to enrol before a a cycle begins check the module outlines on the the website (www rvc ac ac uk/certavp) for the the timetable or or contact certavp@rvc ac uk for for enrolment advice The fees for for the 2021/2022 academic year are:
RVC registration fee: £50
RVC module module fee: £650 per module module Learning support You will receive support throughout your studies from the CertAVP team 1-2-1 coaching extensive written feedback from assessors and access to relevant online resources Once enrolled on on A-FAVP 1 you will will be allocated a a a a a a a tutor who will will assess and give feedback on all all your essays The tutor will have the opportunity to to support your development which will lead to an improved personal learning experience Online resources include sample case case diaries case case reports and exam questions interesting literature helpful articles links to electronic journals videos and clinical cases with model answers A recorded webinar is is available for each specific discipline giving advice and tips on preparing for module assessment tasks You will have access to the the RVC library both online and and in in person and and an an an Athens account (which allows access to many journals online) Some of the RVC CPD courses in in 2021 specifically address learning objectives in various CertAVP modules In addition many other RVC CPD courses cover topics relevant to to veterinarians enrolled on the CertAVP CertAVP CertAVP CertAVP candidates are eligible for discounted RVC CPD courses – please contact our our office for further details
