“Coming to the Royal Veterinary College straight from high school means that I
can graduate at a young age.
“My mum was really excited about me coming to the RVC. Both of my parents are doctors
and they had to do undergraduate degrees and postgraduate degrees, and they ended
up graduating in their mid-to-late twenties. I think that they are really excited that I can
graduate at a young age and that I will have so much versatility.
“It gives me the opportunity to do an internship or a residency, or to travel and practise as
a vet abroad. I am so much more open than someone who has to do an 8-year degree.
Being so young is such a massive advantage!”
