   CLASSNOTES
   Carolyne Crowe
I met Ollie Crowe who was doing his equine surgical residency in 2001. I qualified in 2002. Married in 2006 and have two wonderful children... out of four of us in our house we all married fellow clinicians or students from the RVC!!!
Vanessa Howie
James Howie and I were both RVC 2000 graduates. Got together in the third year, married in 2007 and now have two children. Can’t believe where the last twenty years have gone....
James Russell
Still proud that my comment on surviving the RVC made it into the alumnus magazine: ‘Find someone in the year above you who is cleverer than you are and go out with them’. 20 years later, three daughters together and they’re now all cleverer than me!
Hannah Sampson
2001 graduate, married a 1995 RVC grad. Poor Barney ended up doing all the RVC parties more often than necessary. Nearly 17 years married, two daughters and over 10yearsrunningapracticetogether. The RVC has a LOT to answer for!
Jemima Mead
My husband and I are both RVC graduates, he was three years ahead
of me. We never met while he was at College. We were introduced by a mutual friend at the May Ball of my fourth year. He was back playing old boys football. We stayed in contact for a year but didn’t see each other until the May ball of my final year when we started seeing each other (2006). Six years later we married and now have two beautiful daughters.
Antoinette O’Hara
I met my husband Laurence O’Hara during final year Equine surgery rotations in 2007. He was the surgery resident helping me with an isolation case... how romantic! We now live in Maine and have two boys.
Lucy McMahon
I met my husband when we were both interns at the RVC having both been RVC undergraduates in different years. We worked in the QMHA for quite a few years. We have four children now. So we have a lot to thank the RVC for!
Catriona Miranda Dominguez Wagstaff
I didn’t technically meet my fiancé at the RVC but when I was a student completing EMS between second
and third year I went and did my pig placement. He was a farmer and he let me stay with him during my two week placement. It was a bit kismet because we lived hundreds of miles apart but now six and a half years on we are planning our wedding this summer. And no; I am DEFINITELY not the vet for his farm I don’t need that sort of pressure.
Dodi Tasker
Met hubby Alex Tasker as we were both leaders of different RVC undergraduate research teams. Married with two fab daughters and a dog together.
Laura Smith
Both 2005 graduates - met on our first night of freshers, got together at the end of final year and now been married for four years and have two boys!
Sara Mauthoor
I met Robin Wells who was doing his equine medicine and surgery internship in 2001. I graduated from RVC in 2002. We have been together ever since. We have three beautiful daughters and are Partners and owners of an equine practice in Marlow together.
Beverley Hopkins
I met James Hopkins on my first afternoon in Connaught Hall (he was a second year). We’ve now been married 10 years and have two daughters.
Anna Jackson
I met Rob Jackson on a train to Potters Bar although we didn’t get together until a couple of years later. 19 year wedding anniversary coming up this year.
Kirsty Miller
Met my fiancé in 2012 when I was on placement at QMHA. Going to be married next year, got engaged in Rome and buying our first house together this year.
Natasha Hartley-Jackson
Barrie and I met in 2001 at an RVC Christmas party. He was a third year,
I was final year. We married when he graduated in 2003. Since then we have emigrated to Australia and have two kids.
Laura Felstead
Started dating my now husband in first term of our first year in 2004. We got married in 2012 and now have two daughters. Thank you RVC!
Kate Everett
Glenn and I have been together since the last day of the first term of first year, 1999. Graduated 2004, married 2006 and now two boys.
Johnathan Crouch
Started on the vet nursing course in 2011, met my now fiancé in 2012 (vet nurse in few years above) now engaged, moving across the country and going to be married next year.
Sadie Hadley
I graduated in 1999, the same year Jason Hadley and I got together. Jason graduated in 2000. We got married in 2007 and now have two daughters. u
