The Royal Veterinary College (RVC) and International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) have started delivering the online course ‘Introduction to food safety and risk assessment’ to the first cohort of 47 participants from India and Ethiopia. The course covers global food safety issues with a focus on low and middle-income countries (LMICs) and risk analysis methodologies. The development and delivery of the course is supported by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), CGIAR Research Program on Agriculture for Nutrition and Health (A4NH), the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office.
