When applying for this programme, you are initially applying for the Contemporary Study Skills module which is part of, but also antecedes the full Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Nursing. If successful in getting an offer for this course, you will receive both an offer for the initial module, and an offer for the relevant Certificate conditional upon you passing the module (exemption will be applied post-application where applicable). One application covers the whole process.

How to apply

Students must submit complete applications that include the documents below:

  1. Personal statement explaining why you would like to do the course and outlining your relevant skills and experiences - further guidance, including word limits, can be found in the application form.
  2. Qualification certificates and transcripts (scanned copies).
  3. Evidence of Employee Permission. As part of your application, it is your responsibility to provide evidence that your current employer has agreed for you to undertake the course. Either you can upload a letter stating their permission (on headed paper, containing their signature) or via the employer permission contact on the application form.
  4. Copy of your Passport 
  5. Membership of relevant professional body/regulator/council (if applicable). If you haven’t uploaded the above attachments, your application may not be processed. If you are having problems obtaining the above documents, please contact admissions@rvc.ac.uk before submitting your application.
