Sara qualified from the University of Lisbon in 2017 after obtaining a Biology degree in 2011. Since then, she has worked in France and England, starting with two internships in large referral hospitals.

Sara has been working as an ambulatory vet for several years and enjoys all aspects of first opinion Equine Practice, particularly lameness, poor performance investigation and emergency medicine. She recently finished her studies towards a Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice, specialising in Equine Lameness Diagnosis and Therapeutics. Sara is also an Official Veterinarian for equine exports.

Sara will be accompanied on her visits by her gorgeous Collie, Ascot.
