Welcome

Congratulations again on obtaining an offer of a place here at the RVC!

We appreciate that deciding where to study Veterinary Medicine is a difficult task and, with the acceptance deadline looming, you may have questions about where is right for you. This Virtual Offer Holder Day is designed to help Veterinary Gateway, Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Graduate Accelerated Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine Offer Holders - giving you the opportunity to learn what the RVC can offer you through online presentations and videos.

Suggested timetable

To make it easier for you our suggestion on how to navigate this Virtual Offer Holder Day is below:

  1. Watch our video on this page which gives you an introduction from our Vice Principal for Students and an overview of what we have on offer across our campuses.
  2. Read the statement from our Vice Principal for Students who provides vital, up to date, information about how the RVC is looking after our students and staff in this challenging time, as well as our plans for welcoming new students and delivering teaching in September.
  3. From Monday 29th March explore our event page by clicking on 'Begin Online Offer Holder Day'; watch the presentations, sample lectures, campus tours and course videos that interest you.
  4. On Wednesday 31st March re-visit this website to join live video Q&As with course leaders/admissions and current students. At these live Q&As you’ll be able to hear from faculty, admissions staff and students about their experiences at the RVC including how our delivery has evolved to our current hybrid teaching model that we have been following over the last year. There will also be the opportunity to text chat with academic and support staff, as well as current students who are all looking forward to answering any questions that you have on a more one-to-one basis.
NB: Links to the Live Q&As will be published on our Online Offer Holder Day main webpage around 3:00pm (BST) on Wednesday 31st March.

We hope you enjoy the experience and if you don't have a chance to view it all don't worry as the presentations from the event will remain live until 10th June 2021.
