Welsh Farm Taster Week

Coleg Sir Gâr in Carmarthenshire and the RVC run this residential course offering the chance to discuss the nature of being a farm vet with practicing vets and farmers. The course also provides an insight into where the veterinary surgeon fits in the modern food industry.

The emphasis is on those considering studying Veterinary medicine, though other students may find the course of interest.

Dorset Farm Taster Week

Kingston Maurward College (KMC) in Dorset and the RVC introduced this residential course following a demand for youngsters to get the practical farm and veterinary experience required to go into further education in Veterinary sciences.
