The Royal Veterinary College has long been at the forefront of research into areas that benefit human and animal health and welfare.
We are proud of our achievements and recognise that our researchers play an important part in that success. Life-long learning is an underpinning educational philosophy for the RVC. Developing our scientific researchers to ensure they achieve their full potential within their chosen career is in-line with our values as an institution.
Our training programmes include sessions specifically aimed at researchers. These courses are designed to enhance personal, professional and career development knowledge and skills. We encourage researchers to participate in these short courses and to discuss individual training needs with their supervisor or principal investigator / line manager.
In addition to courses aimed at research scientists, the RVC offers a large number of one-day and short courses which are open to all staff. These range from interview skills to media training and writing for a lay audience - all skills which are important in today's workplace.
