The Group specialises in postgraduate training in veterinary epidemiology and public health at various levels as follows:
MSc Degrees, Diplomas and Certificates
- MSc/Diploma Veterinary Epidemiology
- MSc/Diploma One Health (Infectious Diseases)
- MSc/Diploma/Certificate Veterinary Epidemiology and Public Health (Distance Learning)
Individual 240-hour modules of the MSc/Diploma/Certificate Veterinary Epidemiology and Public Health (Distance Learning) may also be studied as stand-alone modules, allowing students to sample a discrete learning unit before committing to a full programme. 35-hour and 50-hour modules are also offered to enable students to sample one element of the 240-hour individual modules.
Clinical Training Scholarships
We offer three-year Clinical Training Scholarships (residencies) in both veterinary epidemiology and veterinary public health following the curriculum of the European College of Veterinary Public Health, depending on availability of funding. Customised short courses
In addition to the above training, members of the Group regularly run customised postgraduate short courses on a wide variety of epidemiological techniques, such as risk analysis and spatial analysis.
