Due to the current pandemic we are not accepting any new patients to the research clinic until further notice.
What happens at your visit to the clinic?
At each visit, we will first ask you some questions about your dog and then perform a physical examination with you present.
Your dog is then admitted to the hospital as a day patient to give us time to perform the following diagnostic tests:
- Record blood pressure
- Record an electrocardiogram (ECG) to assess heart rhythm
- Take a blood sample
- Image the heart via a cardiac ultrasound scan (echocardiography).
- In order to do this, we need to clip a small patch of hair on your dog’s chest
We also ask that you bring urine samples for analysis and will provide you with a kit and instructions to do this.
See Contact/Location to find where we are.
