Adrian's main research interests lie in the diagnosis, progression and treatment of acquired canine cardiovascular diseases. He worked as a primary investigator on the EPIC study, which demonstrated a significant benefit to administering the drug pimobendan to dogs with preclinical mitral valve disease.
Adrian helped establish the Mitral Valve Clinic and has been working there as the cardiologist since the start of the project in 2004.
Jenny graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2015 and went on to work in private, small animal, first opinion practice. In January 2017, she re-joined the RVC to begin undertaking a PhD studentship titled: “Degenerative Mitral Valve Disease: differentiating stable and progressive cases”.
As part of her ongoing research, Jenny is helping lead an international study which will collect data from over 1000 dogs that are affected by MVD.
