Prudential RideLondon 100- Sun 4th August 2019

We have places on the ACT team at next year’s Ride London Event on Sun 4th August.

Born out of the London 2012 Olympics it’s the cycle race to take part in, with a 100-mile course that covers the leafy trails of Surrey from the city sights of the capital, without a car in sight!

But don’t take our word for it, here’s how avid 3x Ride London cyclist Dion sums it up: “Whizzing through central London, ignoring red lights, no traffic, through Richmond park and onto the Surrey hills, stopping for a peanut butter and jam bagel at the top of Box Hill to admire the views, before returning through Kingston and back into London, along the embankment and powering up the Mall to the finish. Simply brilliant.”

Sign up at this year's event and we will support you every step of the way:

  • A fundraising pack full of hints, tips and inspiration.
  • Full support from the ACT team.
  • Additional fundraising materials on request.

Tania Fisher, one of our amazing supporters, completed a London to Paris bike ride, all in aid of the ACT!

Starting in London, the 299 mile, 4 day route took her through glorious English countryside, to the ferry from Dover to Calais. Once ‘French side’, she pushed on cycling along quiet French country lanes, through traditional market towns with views of the rolling green hills of northern France. The ride culminated with the spectacular view of the 324 metre Eiffel Tower.

This is what Tania had to say about the experience:

"Loved it !!! Was the hardest thing I have done to date. A real character building experience. Made some amazing friends who helped you get through the tough times, when you're tired and you don't think you can carry on!!

Very emotional cycling through Paris to the Eiffel tower when you realise how far you have come!! Immense, if you had asked me on the last day would I do it again it would have been a sore and tired resounding NO! But today I miss my fellow cyclists and the French backdrop so YES I would do it again!!!"
