Rachel qualified from the University of Liverpool in 2014, graduating with distinction. Jumping in at the deep end, her first job after graduation was in Ethiopia providing veterinary care for working horses and donkeys. On return to the UK Rachel completed a busy ambulatory and hospital internship in Kent, staying on afterwards to work for the clinic as an ambulatory vet. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, but has a particular interest in equine internal medicine and is working towards completing a post graduate certificate to become an Advanced Veterinary Practitioner in internal medicine. Rachel is a fellow of the Higher Education Association and holds a postgraduate certificate in veterinary education. Rachel has ridden from an early age and competed in tetrathalon at a national level.
