Maud Carron has started her PhD in October 2014 working with Jonathan Rushton and Barbara Haesler at RVC. Maud’s PhD aims to better understand the epidemiology of campylobacter infection in the poultry meat food system of Nairobi, Kenya, by investigating its public health significance, transmission routes, contamination mechanisms, possible drivers and options for control.
