Kamila is a PhD student primarily based in the Structure and Motion lab in Hawkshead but also has ties to the Neuromuscular Diseases lab in Camden. Her research is based on activity and gait monitoring for lifestyle and ill-health assessment in dogs. Kamila completed her undergraduate degree at Imperial College London in Medical Sciences and Biomedical Engineering and is also very interested in the application emerging technology to both human and veterinary medicine, with a focus on long-term, physiological monitoring devices. Kamila’s PhD is being supervised by Dr. Monica Daley, Dr. Emil Olsen and Prof. Richard Piercy.
