Alice is a PhD student associated with the London Interdisciplinary Doctoral (LIDo) Biosciences Consortium. She is using GPS tracking technology and physiological indicators to investigate the navigational strategies of herbivores in Botswana, Africa. Alice is supervised by Prof. Alan Wilson in the Structure and Motion Lab and Prof. Joanne Webster in the Centre for Emerging, Epidemic and Exotic Diseases at Hawkshead campus.
Alice completed a BSc in Animal Behaviour and Welfare at the University of Bristol in 2014 before becoming a Lecturer in Animal Management at Hadlow College, Kent. She then returned to research as an assistant on the Dwarf Mongoose Project in South Africa for three months before completing an MSc in Evolutionary and Adaptive Systems at the University of Sussex in 2017.
