Dr Renate Weller

Renate Weller on a snowboard!

Renate graduated in veterinary medicine from the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich. She did a residency in large animal diagnostic imaging while she worked in the Equine Referral Hospital, Royal Veterinary College, London. After that she joined the Department of Veterinary Anatomy in Munich, where she gained a doctoral degree on comparison of imaging modalities on the equine head. She returned to the RVC to do look at the effect of conformation on biomechanical parameters of the equine limb, funded by the German Science Foundation, for her PhD in the lab. This work finished in August 2005, at which time she became a Lecturer in the Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences and the lab.
