Latest news for 2010 Applicants:
February News
- As we enter the main interview period for the Veterinary Medicine courses, Admissions staff will be away from the Office for much of the time during the next few weeks and so there will be delays in responding to emails. We will endeavour to answer them as soon as we can but would be grateful for your patience. Further information about our courses can be found in the following web pages:
January News
- Extended UCAS deadline for applications to D190 Gateway, D300 Bioveterinary Sciences, and D310/D313 Veterinary Nursing : see UCAS announcement.
December news
- D100 BVetMed - Please note that we have started to send out some invitations for interview. However this is a lengthy ongoing process that is unlikely to be completed before Christmas. Thank you for your patience.
Previously
- D102 - Please note that the deadline for the BVetMed Accelerated programme was 15th October as shown on our website - the deadline given on the UCAS website was incorrect.
- You can now follow RVC Admissions news on Twitter for the latest updates and reminders for your application. Click on the button above.
- Extended Projects: The RVC recognises the Extended Project qualification as useful preparation for Higher Education. If taken in a topic relevant to the veterinary sciences there is a possibility (as with any other scientific studies) that this will be discussed at interview. However, we do not accept the EP as a free-standing qualification in place of our standard entry requirements for courses D100, D101, D102, D190 or D300, and students with the EP are not given preference over other applicants in our selection procedures.
- Prospective Nursing applicants should note that entry requirements for Fdn/BSc degree in Nursing are changing for 2010 entry. Information can be found by clicking on the information for each course on the menu bar on the left of this page.
- Gateway applicants should also note that BTEC ND in Animal Management requirements have changed slightly for 2010 entry. The UCAS course code for the Gateway programme will be D190 for 2010 entry and beyond.
- From 2010 entry, the four year accelerated programme for graduates will have its own UCAS course code - D102.
