D300 & D301 – BSc Bioveterinary Sciences
We have a few places left for enthusiastic science students to enter into our highly acclaimed Science degree programme. Our BSc in Bioveterinary Sciences achieved top rankings for careers and student satisfaction in the Biosciences category in the Guardian's University Guide 2013 and also received a 100% satisfaction rating in the 2011 National Student Survey. Additionally, the programme is recognised by the Society of Biology and is unique in that all students undertake up to 18 weeks of biological research during the degree covering topics from whole animal/human to genetics (6 week project in 2nd year and 12 week project in final year). Many of our science graduates enter into MSc and PhD programmes.
**A levels at grades BBC including Chemistry and either Biology, Maths or Physics or minimum 35 points at IB including at least grade 5 at HL Chemistry and either Biology, Maths or Physics or DDM overall in Level 3 Extended Diploma Animal Management or Applied Science (specific units must have been taken in the Extended Diplomas - see our entry requirements page for full details)
The degree is offered as a three year programme (D300) or a four year programme which includes a work based placement year (D301).

Please note: There are no Adjustment or Clearing places available in BVetMed (D100), Accelerated Veterinary Medicine (D102), the Combined degree (D101), the Gateway programme (D102) or the Veterinary Nursing programmes (D310 & D313).
