What is the Graduate Accelerated BVetMed programme?
The Graduate Accelerated BVetMed programme (D102) is designed for graduates with a degree in a biological sciences-based subject (minimum upper second class honours). The D102 programme offers a 4 year full-time programme in Veterinary Medicine, taught at the Camden and Hawkshead campuses. On successful completion of the introductory graduate year, students will enter the BVetMed programme at the start of year three, leading to completion of the BVetMed in a total of four years.
An exciting curriculum by design
The curriculum is inspired by the LIVE Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning - the only centre of its kind in a British veterinary school. We have taken a fresh look at how we can bring together technological change, clinical and scientific progress, and stimulating teaching and learning methods.
Hands on experience
As well as learning the latest theory and practice, you can expect plenty of practical ‘hands on’ experience, taught by leading experts in their field. The result is a unique degree course that will equip you for life for a range of veterinary careers.
