2012 Entry

D100/D101/D190

Email addresses - please ensure that you check your email account regularly as invitations to attend an interview are sent by email. You should ensure that you put "@rvc.ac.uk" addresses in your safe-senders list. If you do not respond to an invitation to attend an interview it may not be possible to re-arrange another date for you.

Interviews

For our Veterinary Medicine (BVetMed), Graduate Accelerated BVetMed, BSc/BVetMed Combined programmes and our Veterinary Gateway programme we are changing the format of interviews for 2012 and beyond. The format will be multi-mini interviews involving different stations and is also likely to include a group exercise, at our Camden Campus. There will also be a talk given by the Principal or another member of the Senior Management team, and a representative from the Students' Union, which will be available to interviewees and their guests. More detailed information will be sent to all students selected for interview.

Gateway D190

The Supplementary Gateway form has been updated for 2012 entry and is now available on the Gateway How to Apply page.

Email addresses

We often correspond with applicants by email and all interview notifications are sent by email. Please ensure that the email account you indicated on your UCAS form is still active and checked regularly. Occasionally emails might get caught in your 'junk mail' filter, so watch this carefully. If possible, put "@rvc.ac.uk" addresses in your safe-senders list.

If you change your email at any time you must notify us and UCAS.

General

  • You can now follow RVC Admissions news on Twitter for the latest updates and reminders for your application. Click on the button above.
  • Extended Projects: The RVC recognises the Extended Project qualification as useful preparation for Higher Education. However, we do not accept the EP as a free-standing qualification in place of our standard entry requirements for courses D100, D101, D102, D190, D300 or D301 and students with the EP are not given preference over other applicants in our selection procedures.
    • For our Nursing courses (D313 and D310) the Extended Project can contribute to the overall required UCAS Tariff points, but not in place of the required A2 (or equivalent) Science subject (preferably Biology).
