Tatjana Hubel

Tatjana is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Locomotion Research Group. Tatjana's research interest covers the mechanics of terrestrial locomotion as well as the mechanics and aerodynamics of animal flight.
Biography
Tatjana graduated in 2000 with a Diplom (MA) in Biology from the Saarland University in Germany. She completed her PhD in the aerodynamics of flapping flight at the Darmstadt University in 2006. Tatjana then became a postdoctoral associate at Brown University investigating the kinematics and aerodynamics of bats. Her recent project is the investigation of bipedal locomotion in humans and birds.
