Simon Dennis

Simon is a Temporary Lecturer in Cardiology at the Royal Veterinary College. He is a European Specialist in Veterinary Cardiology.
Biography
Simon graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in July 2000. He then completed an internship in small animal clinical studies in 2001 at the University of Glasgow. While at Glasgow he started a Master of Veterinary Medicine degree with thesis in canine electrocardiography, which was awarded in July 2002.
Simon spent 4 years in general practice in Essex, before returning to the RVC to complete a residency in cardiology between 2005 and 2008. He is currently employed as Temporary Lecturer in Cardiology at the RVC. He has the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) Certificate in Veterinary Cardiology (CertVC) and the European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine Diploma in Cardiology (DipECVIM-CA).
Research
Simon's main research interests are the causes and treatment of arrhythmias, feline cardiomyopathies, and platelet function in cardiac disease.
Clinical
His main area of interest is small animal cardiology, with a specific interest in arrhythmias.
