Rosanne is a Temporary Lecturer in Small Animal Internal Medicine.
Biography
Rosanne graduated from the University of Bristol in 2003 and progressed immediately to complete a Junior Clinical Training Scholarship at the Queen Mother Hospital for Animals (QMHA).
She then spent a period of time working in first opinion small animal practice until being offered her PhD at the Royal Veterinary College. During and after her PhD Rosanne worked as an Honorary Research Assistant at the BIOMICS Centre, St George’s Hospital, London. She was awarded her PhD entitled Proteinuria and the Feline Kidney in August 2008.
In September 2008 Rosanne started a Senior Clinical Training Scholarship in Small Animal Internal Medicine at the QMHA and in June 2011 passed her certifying examinations to become an ACVIM diploma holder in Small Animal Internal Medicine.
Rosanne has subsequently returned to the Royal Veterinary College in November 2011 as a Temporary Lecturer in Small Animal Internal Medicine.
Research
Rosanne’s research interests have focused on feline hypertension and chronic kidney disease (CKD).
Clinical
Rosanne’s clinical interests encompass all aspects of small animal medicine but she has particular interest in feline medicine and small animal nephrology and urology.
