Lindsay Kellett-Gregory

Lindsay is a Lecturer in Emergency and Critical Care Medicine at the Queen Mother Hospital for Animals (QMHA). She is also co-director of the Small Animal Junior Clinical Training Scholarship (internship) program.
Biography
Lindsay completed a BSc in Veterinary Pathology in 2001 and later qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 2004. Following graduation she worked in small animal practice for 2 years before completing a one year rotating small animal internship at the RVC.
She became a resident in Emergency and Critical Care Medicine in 2007 at the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, USA. Lindsay returned to the RVC in her current role in 2010 after achieving Diplomate status of the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care.
Research
Lindsay's current research interests include coagulation disorders and sepsis. Current research projects include assessment of platelet function in a variety of disease states and evaluating patients with sepsis for prognostic indicators and new treatments.
Teaching
Lindsay is actively involved in teaching final year veterinary students on clinical rotations in the QMHA in addition to supervision of the Senior Clinical Training Scholars in Emergency and Critical Care. She is also co-director of the Junior Clinical Training Scholarship program. Lindsay lectures undergraduate veterinary students in a variety of topics related to Emergency and Critical Care and is also the faculty advisor for the student chapter of the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society (SVECCS) at the RVC.
Clinical
Lindsay's clinical interests involve management of all critically ill patients, but especially those requiring mechanical ventilation or dialysis, or suffering from sepsis.
