Biography
Kimberly has a BA in molecular, cellular and developmental biology from the University of Colorado, Boulder and an MSc in control of infectious diseases in animals from the Royal Veterinary College. She spent a year working at the Harvard School of Public Health on the genetics of host susceptibility to tuberculosis before moving to Medical Research Council site in The Gambia, West Africa to manage a joint Harvard- MRC project on environmental risk factors for severe pneumonia in children. Kimberly currently works as research assistant in the Veterinary Epidemiology and Public Health group.
