Rosie is currently a PhD student in the Veterinary Clinical Sciences group, researching the prevalence of heart disease in cats.
Biography
Rosie qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 2008. After spending a year working in small animal practice, she returned to the Royal Veterinary College in October 2009 to start her PhD under the supervision of Dr Virginia Luis Fuentes and Dr David Brodbelt.
Research
Rosie’s main interest lies with feline myocardial disease. During the final year of her undergraduate degree she completed a research project investigating survival times in cats diagnosed with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. Her PhD is focused on the epidemiology of heart disease in asymptomatic cats. For more information see www.rvc.ac.uk/CatScan
